SAPURACREST PETROLEUM BERHAD Group is one of the largest oil and gas service providers of deepwater services in Malaysia. The Company has progressively expanded its operations beyond the shores of Malaysia to markets stretching from India to Indonesia and Australia to China. The Group’s involvement in the oil and gas industry span the areas of offshore drilling, installation of pipelines and facilities, marine services, operations and maintenance activities. We are seeking dedicated and professional talented individuals with the right qualifications and experience for the following position at our operating subsidiaries, to help us meet the ever increasing needs of this demanding industry :
Financial Controller – Sabah / Labuan
Responsibilities:
- Directing, supervising and driving the finance functions including tax, treasury, management reporting and finance special project.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation regulations, listing rues and other regulatory requirements
- Responsible for corporate finance. Corporate tax planning, monitoring cash flow analysis, forecast and budgeting process
- Develop a strong financial controls environment and provide meaningful financial info for decision making
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- At least 10 year(s) of working experience with at least 7 years at Managerial level in corporate finance of major organization, accounting firm or merchant banks
- Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant & MIA by designation
- Oil & Gas exposure would be an added advantage.
